Md. Abdullah Al Rana believes in creating meaningful work—with respect and kindness at its core. With over 14 years in the creative industry, he has built a career shaped by collaboration, culture, and impactful storytelling across both local and international agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather Communications Pvt. Ltd. and ADA.
Currently serving as Group Creative Director at POP5 in Dhaka, he leads integrated campaigns across platforms, working closely with brands to turn insights into ideas that connect and perform. His portfolio spans global and local names, reflecting a versatile and insight-driven creative approach.
His work has earned recognition on major global stages, including Spikes Asia, ADFEST, MAD STARS, PHNX, and Commwards, along with the distinguished achievement of being shortlisted at the Cannes Lions Festival—one of the most competitive benchmarks of creative excellence worldwide.
Beyond awards, his industry recognition is strongly reflected in his jury roles. He served as a Shortlist Jury member at Bangladesh Brand Forum’s Commwards (2021–2022) and was elevated to the Grand Jury in 2023—highlighting trust in his creative judgment at a national level. Internationally, he was selected as a Preliminary Jury member at MAD STARS, Busan (2024–2026), one of Asia’s most respected creative festivals. He also serves as a PHNX Jury member (2025–2026), contributing to a global platform that celebrates creative effectiveness and innovation, and has been appointed as a Creative Circle Judge for 2026—further reinforcing his standing within the creative community.
