Bitop Das Gupta
Bitop is one of South Asia’s most decorated strategists, with a career built on making creativity work harder and brands mean more. Over 17 years, he has mastered portfolio strategy, brand strategy and new-age creative communication. A 15-year Grey veteran and a truly homegrown planner, he currently heads Strategy at Grey Bangladesh, having also led Grey Pakistan from 2023–25; elevating both offices’ integrated strategy depth and helping create purposeful, enduring brands. Projects he led strategy for have won the Global Grand Effie (2022), Grand Effie and Gold Effie at APAC Effie (2021), Grand Prix at the WARC Prize for Asian Strategy (2020), alongside Cannes Lions, Adfest, AdStars. Published in WARC and featured in Campaign Asia’s Asia Top 1000 Brands series, he has juried APAC Effie (2021–2025), Spikes Asia 2025, WARC Prize for Asian Strategy 2021, Tangrams 2021, and AdFest 2020–21.
